Founded over 50 years ago as an arm of the Christian Medical Society, MAP (Medical Assistance Programs) moved to its permanent location in Brunswick, Georgia in 1985. Today MAP continues to serve the world with a staff of nearly 130 in our U.S., Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire, Ecuador and Bolivia offices, dedicated through their Christian faith to providing health and hope for people living in the world's poorest communities. MAP also works in partnership programs with over 300 organizations, agencies and medical missions around the world.

MAP's three-fold mission is to provide essential medicines, prevent and eradicate disease, and promote community health development. MAP's international programs are eliminating the causes of sickness and disease by providing free medicines and medical care, improving water supplies and food production and establishing community directed health education and training.

MAP International promotes the total health of people living in the world's poorest communities by partnering in the:
• Provision of Essential Medicines
• Prevention and Eradication of Disease and
• Promotion of Community Health Development
